Maritime provinces I can recommend Prince Edward Island. It's small, it's beautiful, the
weather and water are warm - and so are the people. A car is required,
as there is not much in the way of public transit. Or you can seek out
1- or 2- day bus tours.
Remember, it's the home of Confederation, and you can soak up lots of
history. Music and theatre are popular in the summer, and so is that
little red-haired girl.
If you have an allergy to shellfish, don't go -- eating lobster is
compulsory, and they won't let you off the Island unless your shirt is
decorated with evidence of lemon butter, potato salad and fresh fruit
pie ...
