Default Canada day - nice for tourists?

In Canmore Alberta, they have a big party and parade for Canada Day. Lot's
of bands, lot's of partys.

I arrived in Jasper on Canada Day last year, and was just in time to see the
parade. Took lots of photos and had a great day watching everything.
