If you could squeeze in a few more days, going to the Galapagos would be worth it, especially around Wolf and Darwin Islands. You can see hammerheads, whale sharks, giant manta rays - the thing is that you need to be an experienced diver because of the cold and the strong currents. I went with Quasar Expeditions on their liveaboard schooner the Alta, and it was a vacation to top all vacations. If you go, get yourself a good underwater camera.

Inside of Rockefeller Park lies 254 acres of beautiful horticulture and landscaping called the Cleveland Cultural Gardens. Each garden contains its own cultural theme, and together they tell a story about the history of twentieth-century America and it’s relation to the world at large. Just last month, Raj Mohan Gandhi planted a tree in the India Garden, where an 11-foot bronze statue of his grandfather Mahatma Gandhi stands. The gardens have been an ongoing work in progress for decades, as some of them date back to the 1930’s, while others are just now reaching proposals and planning stages. More than just the outdoors and cultural history, it’s living-breathing art!
