St. Moritz and Lake Como are recognised places all over the world. I live right between the two in CHIAVENNA , a small Italian town, 10km from the Swiss border.
It has a population of around 7000 and is full of charm and hospitality, offering visitors a true picture of Italian life in a small town.
Its strategic position opens up to 3 important routes; the MALOIA PASS leading to Switzerland and St. Moritz, the SPLUGA PASS, another route into Switzerland leading to Zurich, and VALCHIAVENNA, leading to LAKE COMO and MILAN.
Surrounded by the ALPS, it offers the possibility of numerous mountain activiites; Alpine skiing, crosscountry skiing, snowboarding, etc. in winter and mountaineering, climbing, trekking and mountain-biking in the summer, to name just a few. Also with Lake Como just 20 minutes down the road, it also offers various water sports; windsurf, kitesurf, etc. as well as paragliding, hang-gliding, etc.etc.
Together with my husband, we organise trekking holidays, covering some of the most beautiful itineraries to be found in the Alps.
We have two bases, one in CHIAVENNA and the other in LIVIGNO, another very popular tourist resort both in summer and winter and home to many international sport's events.
