    So sorry the terminal is such a pain. For trips to Alaska, Seattle is still a good departure point. Just so you know, Seattle is putting in a light rail train that will go from Seattle to the airport, so at least that part of the trip may be eventually easier.

  5. First Fridays on Abbott Kinney Blvd! Venice Beach CA 90291

    Well lets start by saying that First Fridays on Abbott Kinney Blvd. is a Friday night well spent. I Just moved here from the east coast and ran into what reminded me of a street back home. Unlike some parts of LA this place really stands out. It's the Melrose of Venice Beach. The restaurants are delicious and the shops are cute and edgy. Antiques and vintage clothing. Stuck in between are incredible art galleries from abstract arts, sculptures, photography and even eco-conscious photography galleries. Imagine this but fill those Stores with live bands and random performances. The galleries are an open house serving beer, wine, cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. Everyone seems to be having a blast. ...
