I've recently made my way down to Venice Beach and it was certainly a sight to see. All of the various characters were out in full force as I walked down the boardwalk. It was certainly an enjoyable day. I also visited Abbot Kinney one of the main mercantile thoroughfairs in the town and the restaurants and shops were a delight. Of course it was a beautiful sunny day which only enhanced the experience. I'd definitely recommend it to the first timer in Los Angeles, just to get the real eclectic feel of the city!
