Southern and Silverton fatality

This is terrible news. Can someone expand more on this?
Can you identify the S&S driver? Wasnt the star guy was it?

Had this incident comfirmed yesterday although at the moment I have no
more details than what was originally posted.
Regarding the aforementioned star person, this would be the Fluffy
Stars tht have apeared over a lot of locos. Fluffy being a crew member.
Cs4 is the only loco known to still carry this item.
