Useful Info - Ballast Train on the Gold Coast Line

This Wednesday a Ballast Train will head back to Mayne (with a few
deviations) duing daylight hours. For those wishing to get photos, be
at Ormeau around 10am. Locomotive-hauled trains on this line are very
rare! The line is serviced primarily by Interurban Multiple Units; a
much cleaner form of transportation. Be mindful that if the operation
is complete earlier than expected, then the train may leave ahead of
schedule.

A friend of mine went to get some photos. Not sure how they went at
the moment.
