Default Connexnsw is no more

It's funny Connex constantly trying to make themselves look good.
Anyway, I'm amazed they're changing their name and look already. Some
of their older buses haven't even been painted into the current Connex
livery, let alone this new Veolia one!

The Connex Livery is pretty basic anyway. They take the basic white bus
as delivered and paint the front yellow.
Thats it. The rest is just stickers.
Not ones to spend any more than they have to. (Although they did nearly
completely transform their Taren Point depot - replacing the dust and mud
with concrete).

I think the Kennent experiement in Melbourne trying to privatise and
have the operation operate almost subsidy free has been such a failure
that no other state govt will aven try to sell off their communter rail
systems. Even if they did what company will line up to buy it? I doubt
Connex would.

I think the only thing that will happen in the future (if it does) is
that the operation management is contracted out to a private operator.
ie the staff are no longer govt employees and the company charges the
govt to run Cityrail and in return gets performance
payments/penalities. This won't happen until the govt invests alot of $
into the operation such as clearways project to make the operation more
reliable.
