 BA XR6 turbo
I borrowed my friend's 2005 model over Easter down in Tassie. A very
bright yellow. Nice car to drive, seemed much more nimble the 2004 XT
auto I had been knocking around in.
I found the gearshift quite sweet, the throw was short and it was
possible to change up and down quickly and smoothly, especially when
double-declutching on downshifts. Definitely a few clunks and dings
from the rear end on gear changing though, I think that's always going
to be an Aussie Ford trait.
Anyway, a question. How does the XR8 drive compared to the XR6 turbo?
Is there a consensus on which one is better, or do both have their
supporters? I've never driven the V8 myself.
