There has been alot of people who seem interested in buying them
recently, even though the tender has finnished. I don't know if you can
still buy them but I am sure if you had the cash you could try to buy
them of the scrappers. They may then change their minds.

The three cars are presumably some of the seven that have been
acquired by preservation groups. The new grey paint was very rugh,
even over the lower windows, so I assume that it simply covers
graffiti.

I understand from an unsuccessful commercial bidder who approached the
successful scrapper that they can buy a car for $15,000! Quite a
profit from $179 - that's correct, $179 - even after allowing for the
removal of the asbestos, which is only required if the cars are being
scrapped.

Did they buy the carriage? 13 carriages had been left out of the recent
tender does this mean 6 carriages have been bought for peoples homes
ect?

The right way, the wrong way and the rail way. They'll never change with
clowns running the circus

Possibly made up of two cars to Petersham Training College and four
cars to the RailCorp Emergency Response Group at Elston's Siding.

Oops I forgot the two at Petersham. I think three went to SETS, one top
Dorrigo, and two to a private collector. If four went to the railcorp
Emergency Responce group, then one went to HET. This makes sence seeing
that is 13 carriages, the exact number which were left out of the
tender.
