What were they doing in the back platform at Glenfield yesterday
afternoon? The CityRail site said that there had been an SSR freight
train failure and all trains terminating at Glenfield would be
terminating at Liverpool 'until further notice'. When I went past (about
1715) 4503 was running but the GM sounded dead.

Cheers Roy

Heard a whisper today that the freight may have been sent down the wrong
road into the terminating road. Any truth to this?

Cheers Roy

Seems a bit odd that this would happen in the middle of peak hour. Why
not send it through to Campbelltown and put it in the yard there? At
least it would be out of the way.
