Motorail services between Cairns and Melbourne

Hi,

I am thinking of driving from Melbourne to Cairns, then sending my ute back
on the train.

Does anyone know if there is a service available to do this? Or can anyone
suggest an alternative?

I am only aware of Brisbane - Cairns. Cost was $188.00 last time I looked.
There are two wagons which carry three vehicles each, but remember the
Sunlander to Cairns only runs twice a week now.
The motorail is usually full so you need to book well ahead.
