What tourist would want to depart from Emerald at 3:45am for Mackay?
What tourist would want to arrive in Longreach at 3:45am?
If YOU could travel by train to Emerald and continue to a town on the
Emerald-Mackay route by coach at a reasonable time of day, would you
do that, compared to being required to depart at 3:45am?
If the SOTO was backed up with a co-ordinated rail and coach service
Brisbane/ Rockhapton, to offer better choices of the days of travel,
would you expect patronage to increas on QR trains?
If a daylight coach service connected with the "Westlander" in Roma,
for Longreach/Mt Isa, would patronage on the "Westlander" increase?
One can by sure that more people would use the "Westlander", but is
THAT what QR want?
