Default [NSW] "Sydney Terminal" = Central?

Excuse my ignorance, but when did Central become "Sydney Terminal"?

The loudspeaker annoucements seem to say that now.

Whilst I worked there the country section changed name 4 times. Most of us
just give up and call it Sydney Terminal and the suburban part Central
anyway....
I think once an order came out that we were to call them "Central" and
"Central Electric" at one point. Seemed silly so we didn't.

Yep; spending Easter just "hanging around" has its advantages...

But he was able to walk on the surface?
