Default Ghan to Darwin, what will be new?

I think CEO of GSR said "NEVER", colour scheme to them is costly and can be
inflexible.

However I heard FQ class, the ARG new loco to be use on this route would
have indegenous livery

I'm not sure, but the rollingstock looks pretty much the same every time
I go past Keswick - some carriages seemingly kept only for parts, a
couple of fire-damaged carriages, some looking quite serviceable and a
couple being actively repaired. There is a Steve Irwin poster
advertising the Ghan to Darwin by the southern entrance to the Keswick
terminal and a poster of a row of camels at an underground railway
station on the North Terrace station between platform 1 and the ticket
barriers.

My guess is that any new Ghan colour/design scheme will be restricted to
merchandise, the stainless steel logo plates on the carriages, and
possibly a locomotive or 2.

Arthur.
