Default Pacific National in Mudgee

I notice that Pacific National have an office in Mudgee. There always seems
to be someone there (Monday-Friday) and they have company cars parked in the
railway station carpark. What do they do there as the tracks appear to be
almost rusty

Mudgee is the "home station" for crews working out of the nearby Ulan
coal loading facility. It is the nearest town to the Mine. Trains
spend many hours loading at Ulan. Doubtless others can explain the
logistics of tran rostering of the lnoger coal runs such as Ulan to
Port Waratah / Kooragang.

Thanks, mudgee bit of drive to Ulan, but then, noone "lives" in Ulan
And the local paper has put in that Ulan Mines have just placed an
application to expand their operations.
