Victoria, NSW and Tasmania: what to see? Hi all!
Following the information received in the other thread (Perth to Alice
Spring via the Outback) I've decided that the best trip for this period of
the year is the following: Victoria, NSW, Capital Territory and Tasmania.
I'll arrive in Sydney on 18th of February and I'll stay until 16th of March.
I want to travel with a campervan between Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide.
Moreover I want to go to Tasmania and Kangaroo Island.
- What are the most interesting spots to see in 26 days?
- Where would you stop, and how long?
I was thinking to reach Tasmania with the ferry as soon as I arrive in
Sydney (I've read it departs on Sunday and I'll arrive on Saturday so it
should be ok). Stay there for a week, come back to Sydney and explore the
rest of the area from there to Adelaide (also Kangaroo Island).
- What do you think about this?
- Is one week enough for Tasmania?
- What do you suggest me to see in Tassie?
- Is ok a campervan 2wd for this trip?
- Is there anything dangerous (city areas or anything else) I should be
aware of?
Tomorrow (here in Rome is Sunday at 11.34 pm) I'll get the Australia
Lonelyplanet guide so I'll be more detailed on questions :)
Thanks for your answers!
Bye!
