Default Brisbane to Sydney by train

Thinking of doing this next month. Anyone done it?
Day trip or overnight more interesting? How expensive
is the food and drink on board?

Weird.

Now I'm thinking of making a nightstop (or two) en route - what do you

Oooh. That sounds like it swings it.

It's gotta be one...

I take it the standard Brisbane -> Sydney ticket doesn't allow
stopovers and I need two separate bookings?
