Default How is Sydney's drinking water supply purified?

Ultraviolet? Chlorination?

In my trip to Sydney in 1999, I noticed that the water didn't have the
usual chlorine smell that we have in North America. I stayed at the
University of NWS campus.

Can anybody tell me what Sydney used to purify its water? Does it work
well?

If this isn't the best forum for this question, please advise where I
should post it. Thanks.

Hi,

That's right. The difference between Sydney's water and Adelaide's is incredible.
