Bali to Hong Kong / Guangzhou

[Just Looking]

Hi all,

Planning a trip from Melbourne, Australia to Bali then onwards to Hong
Kong - preferably to Guangzhou (Canton) direct, then back home to
Melbourne.

I don't have any problem getting a flight Melb-Bali. But Drawing a blank
from Bali (Denpasar) DIRECT to either Hong Kong or Guangzhou.

Not having much luck with local Travel Agents. And I must be doing the
wrong searches on the net ! Please help.

Any suggestion regarding routes and airlines would be very much
appreciated.

Don't really want to use Singapore or KL as a stepping stone in and out
of Bali. Too much in and out of airports. Any more direct flights ?

Amadeus doesn't find any direct flights from Denpasar to either Hong Kong or
Canton. Non-IATA carriers hardly provide such connections either.

Both Cathay Pacific and Hong Kong Express Airways fly from Denpasar Bali
directly to HK.
No carrier flies directly from DPS to Guangzhou.

That is right. Cathay does the job. Naturally Amadeus generates a row of
this flight too when given reasonable search parameters. I didn't do so but
accidentally but made the inquiry by today's schedule.... Well.
everybody knows what time it is now in Asia.
