If a person has three hours in Shanghai is this enough time to get off of
a Delta Flight clear customs and check in for an Air China flight to
Beijing? How much hassle is it to change terminals? Any special tips for
making this happen?

Thanks in advance

A slam dunk.

Delta has already factored in the winds and there quote is likely pretty
close to your actual arrival time.

This is a user friendly airport.

Enjoy the trip, s

Shouldn't be a problem. Besides there are plenty of Shanghai-Beijing
flights even if you miss one your chance of getting on the next one is
great.
