Default Best air route from ...

Looking at being in Lasha (Tibet), China, and debating the different
options for getting back to a city in China to then catch an
international flight back to the Eastern USA - any noteworthy pro's/
con's for getting from Lasha to the various "international gateway"
cities - - eg, Shanghai, Beijing, or Hong Kong?

TIA,

Good point: I forgot to mention that I'm asking about air routes.

Essentially any basic pros/cons for choosing one of the gateway cities
over the other...ie, avoiding a forced stop, nonstop flight vs. a
connection in a good-or-lousy city en route, etc.

I'm not interested in taking the train for 2000km & 2-3 days to reach
Beijing, although I mght consider taking the train for 400km to reach
a superior airport connection. IIRC, Lasha city center isn't a short
drive from its airport anyway.

Thanks, but for this particular itinerary question I'm predominantly
trying to find & compare non-stop flights from LXA to the major
international gateways previously mentioned.

Perhaps a better question is:

"Orbitz, Kayak, etc...have never heard of LXA with which to look at
flights. What website should I use when looking for domestic flights
within China?"

There are only 2 "international gateways" you can fly to from Lhasa -
Beijing or Shanghai.
There aren't any non-stop flights from Lhasa to either of them.
All flights call in at Chengdu en-route east.
