bag tampering in thai airports? From the stories I've heard in Sydney, I think the chances of your bags
being interfered with are higher here than in Thailand. Qantas has finally
had to admit it's sacked some baggage handlers for "irregularities". We've
never had a problem in Thailand - maybe they realise that tourism is too
valuable for them to stuff around with farang bags.
Some of those caught in Bali have been nailed with the drugs in their
possession, so it's hard to blame baggage handlers at either end!
Take the usual precautions of locking your luggage etc.
