Check some of the major airline websites. Do a fare watcher on travelocity.
Check the Chinese travel agents in Chinatown or Sunset or Richmond.

Check airline websites for Cathay Pacific, Korean Air, Singapore
Airlines, Japan Airlines...there can be some very good deals in the
offseason. Expect to pay around $600 at minimum for Tokyo, Bangkok,
Seoul, Singapore, or Hong Kong. (India or non-hub cities like Hanoi
will cost you substantially more.)
