eurocard in malaysia ?

hi all,

in januar I will travel to malaysia fpr 3 weeks. I'm not really sure
what is the best payment.

i will stay only in Langkawi .

a friend tell me i can get money with eurocard in several 'ATM' cash
machines ?!? Is it right ?
And what about general payment conditions...is it popular to pay with
VISA ?
