Actually the real problem is people depending on just one source of info as an
alternative to thinking things out. I take 3 guides ffor India and note how
much they contrast. On that basis I can make my own judgements. They also tend
to have coverage of different areas. No LP section on Sholapur, check
Footprints and so on. Being dependent on just one, shudder.

Over the past few years LP books have been getting more & more
political & PC. It's a shame they used to be the best.
