Well, I live in Hangzhou. SARS is not an issue anymore.
You should check your vaccinations. In addition to
normal polio, tetanus I would advice on getting
a hepatitis A vaccination. Talk wiht your doctor
and check WHO`s site.
It is a bit hot now. I hope it gets cooler by the time
you arrive. Otherwise you cannot actually do anything.
Today and yesterday and actually for the last 6 weeks
it has been about 100F daily here. It means that
one cannot actually do any pleasant sightseeing,
even locals stays inside. I know since I have been
cycling for exercise daily - the Chinese just
cannot understand.
