Don't know how it works in the US, but in the Europe any comparison
between hire rates is worthless unless you factor in the maximum loss
liability. Some of the websites that do comparisons specifically
obscure this number... I found it impossible to make a reservation on
such systems.
The internet was supposed to promote transparancy, but vendors got
smarter at passing on the hidden risks to customers.
