| | Guest | knife in pocket again sometimes security is worthless, other times it goes way overboard.
seems they throw the dice and set the metal detectors.
today I remembered I had my small pocket knife (swiss army knife on a
pen) in my shirt pocket as it normally is there. went through the
airport security and nothing was said....
now, if I had went into a jail or prison to visit someone something
definately would have been said.
why have me walk through a metal detector if something obvious is
missed. why pay the people to operate, why pay for the devices and the
electrity to run them ?? | |

You're right. What we need is greater incentive for the security
guards to find those hidden and/or forgotten weapons, such as a rule
that the guards must use the discovered weapons on the person carrying
them....

| | Guest | knife in pocket again disband police... hey you have the right to keep and bear arms per
constitution. Anyone who tries to break into my house or rob my store
will wind up with a little lead in them.
if we pay for something (airport security) in price of our tickets,
etc, it should work, we should get our money's worth

| | Guest | knife in pocket again I did
In my 182, I can travel with whatever I want and do have a pocket knife
along with other emergency equipment. A pocket knife is a utility tool
A few times, I have tightened screws on the headset with the swiss army
gizmo
