To get ff miles, you need to join an airline's program. I don't think
you can get miles for flights before joining. However, joining is easy.
To benefit from these programs, you need to focus on one program: AA,
UA, NWA, whichever. Then try to fly only that airline and its partners.
Give them you ff number when you book a flight, or when you check in,
and you'll get the miles.
You should also consolidate your credit card purchases to one card that
gives miles on that airline. (This is also an excellent way to keep
your miles from expiring due to account inactivity.)
Typically, you need 25,000 miles for a domestic ticket and 40,000+ for
international depending on destination. |
