Southwest Airlines - 2 seats together A friend and I will be travelling in a few months, and it appears that
Southwest is the least expensive option. What I am concerned about is
the online checkin process and getting 2 seats together.
Unfortunately, I will probably not have access to a computer 24 hours
before the flight. If my friend and I want to have 2 seats together, I
assume that we'd basically have to be in either boarding group A or B.
If I am unable to checkin 24 hours before, what are our chances of
being in group A or B and getting 2 seats together? I know that
arriving at the airport early would make us be stuck with Group C, and
with no chance of 2 seats together. Also, is it best for she and I to
book one reservation for the 2 of us, or 2 seperate reservations? If
she has access to a computer 24 hours before when I do not, would she
be able to check both of us in if we have seperate reservations? If we
have a single reservation and is booked with my credit card, would she
be able to check us in? What info does it ask when you try to check in
online? I assume I can just give her my personal info, but I'd need to
know what info to give her. For the return trip, neither of us might
have access to a computer (we'll be on a cruise ship). Would we have
any chance of getting 2 seats together if we arrive at the airport
early, or are we basically screwed if we can't checkin online? Thank
you. |
