need advice -travel to Europe June 2006

Greetings!

I wish to travel to England in June 2006. We'll be travelling from
Atlanta to either Heathrow or Gatwick or any other international
airport. We'll be staying for about a month. We need some advice
regarding booking air fares. Should we contact a travel agent, or book
through the internet? We need a reliable travel firm. Any help would be
greatly appreciated.

June is too early to book air ticket. A month prior is probably the
right time.

Check with friends and colleagues for a reference to a travel agent.
Frankly though, if you are willing to spend a couple of hours doing some
research via web searches, you will almost certainly find a lower rate
for airfare than through a travel agent.

This is way too early now to start shopping for airfare for a June '06
trip. Start shopping around April and you should be able to find some
competitive airfare deals on your own, but it costs nothing to compare
the rates you find via the Internet with what a travel agent can come up
with.

Difficult to predict in terms of airfares, but I'm a big believer that
using a travel agent will save you lots of grief. Many people will
disagree with me, but there is certainly proof in the pudding many
times that if you have a problem online, don't expect help offline.

On that note - the price of crude will probably dictate your airfare
costs. Right now, our air department fares are quoting $969 including
taxes on BA or Delta. If you're willing to make a stop though, you
could probably benefit from $929 including taxes.

I defenitely suggest you buy it now. I have access to a database with
the lowest fares that weer applicable in june 2005 for flights from
Atlanta to London. They were pretty similar to what you would hve to
pay if you boo now for 2005. It;s around 758 plus taxes and fees. but
end of June is usiually wery busy time for atlantic flights. You are
def. much better off booking now and getting teh times that you
prefere. It is not getting cheaper
