Default What happened to Eastern Airlines???

The wife and I want to go down to Disney World in December. Took the kids
many times when they were growing up and had a lot of good times. We always
flew Eastern, the official airline of WDW. Now that we retired the wife and
I want to go see Mickey by ourselves. We want to fly the L-1011
Whisperliner because we know that is the quietest plane in the sky. It can
fly automatically without the need for pilots, it takes off and lands by
itself. They even got those little closets to hang up your jacket between
the seats. I was looking in the phone book for the number to the Eastern
airlines reservations to book our tickets but had a hard time getting
through. One place I called I got a Cuban who couldn't speak English. When
I told him I wanted to book tickets to Orlando on Eastern he started yelling
something about "El Grandote" and Celia Cruz. Does anyone know what that is
all about?

Anyone know the number to Eastern reservations???

Eastern Airlines went Bankrupt and ceased operations in 1991
their routes ,and the motto "official airline of walt disney world" was
bought up by US Airways

US Airways many years ago was known as Allegheney Airlines, then US
Air,then US Airways

anyone seen the simpsons where they go to Epcot and everything is still
signed and sponsored by Eastern Airlines

Lisa's quote is "It's what Disney's idea of 1986 would be in 1968" or
something like that.
