Default Air to Costa Rica

Does anyone know what's the cheapest round trip air ticket we can get from
Chicago to Costa Rica for the beginning of January?
So far, what I get online is about $500, taxes included, and that still
seems a little bit too much.

Any insights?

Thanks!

Veronica

I have found that flying to Costa Rica from Houston is about the same as
Europe. From Chicago Europe would be cheaper.

Yes, but the costs of staying in Europe are much higher! (We've found a
package for 12 days in Costa Rica that include: hotel for the 12 days, 3
days of all-inclusive meals, breakfast every day and 9 days of a 4x4 vehicle
at $1.140 each)

No problem with that. My suggestion was that you grab the $500 with
taxes & fees price.
