China Eastern Airlines

Has anyone recently travelled with China Eastern airlines? I'm thinking
of flying from Canada to India but haven't seen a lof of good reviews
on the Net. Travel agents seem to have mixed opinions about this
airlines. Any experiences/ponters are appreciated.

I last year once fly China Eastern from Beijing to HangZhou and I think
also from ShangHai to GuiLin.

The service overall is good.

Don't know much about their long haul flights though.

My wife flew China Eastern between Shanghai and London last year. She
had no complaints, suggesting that they are much better than
Northwestern (she used NWA and could not believe how bad they were).

Incidentally, Air China is far better than either of the two airlines I
have mentioned.
