Default How to search for flights without knowing a destination?

Is there an online flight search tool that does not require a destination?
For example, I'd like to travel from my local regional airport to somewhere
that's cheap and non-stop. Travelocity and Expedia, for example requires you
to pick a destination first. I'd like to first see what destinations are
available as non-stop direct flights.

Thanks!

Maybe the airport's website or any of their contacts would be more
helpful?

Go to Travelocity, select the "Flights" tab, then near the bottom of the
page an option called "Dream Maps" in the "Need Ideas?" menu will more
or less do what you want.

I'm not the original poster. But for me, "Dream Maps" gives me almost
what I want, but not quite. The problem is that it doesn't tell me
what days those fares are available. Inevitably, the days I can
travel, the fares shown on the Dream Map are not available. What I'd
like to see is something where I say "I can travel out on such-and-such
day, and return on such-and-such day. Show me a map showing where I
can go ON THOSE DAYS for no more than $300."
