| | Guest | Allegiant Air Allegiant Air is about to start non-stop service from Bellingham, WA to Las
Vegas. Does anyone have any experience with these guys (service, seating,
professionalism, other...)? | |

| | Guest | Allegiant Air Thanks for the input.
According to their website, looks like they'll be flying the MD83 on the
BLI-LAS route.

| | Guest | Allegiant Air Hi there
My parents flew on one of their charter flights to Laughlin offered by
one of the casinos there a few back. They said the flight was not bad.
Only problems they had, were at check-in. Skywest Airlines handled
the check-in for this flight at CPR and it took for ever, as the
airline said they could start until the plane had landed and a rep.
from the airline showed up. The rep. from Allegiant claimed the
airline could have checked in passengers before she showed up at the
counter, but the airline employees just kept saying that was not the
orders they got from their company. At the same time I was booked on a
Skywest flight to SLC which was scheduled to leave after my parents
flight and actually left before theirs. All of the passengers on my
flight, plus a Great Lakes flight to DEN were ushered to the front of
the security line. Don't think this made any of the people on the
Allegiant flight to happy. In addition we had our very own short
chick-in line. Seems, as thought most people on our flight were
checked in before anyone on the Allegiant flight was. Mind this
situation does not deal with their scheduled service, nor does it mean
all charter flight are all that way.

| | Guest | Allegiant Air They do a very good job....they originated flying the FAT-LAS route a few
years back and have done very well with it. I've flown on them twice and
highly recommend them. Their bread and butter is charter work, which they
have earned a good reputation. They are doing vacation charters for Apple,
if memory serves me right.
