Pets are breathing the same air conditioned air that you are
breathing.
Most airlines have pet embargoes during the Summer Months. As an
alternative if you have a "small" pet it can go in a soft side kennel
on the plane with you. Around $75 one-way. Pets can go as cargo by
themselves as well. They day you ship tempatures must not be extreme.
Approx 85F+. This runs about $150 one way.

*Also, pet embargoes are for baggage only. They do not apply to pets
shipped as cargo. So basically, if you are willing to pay double
($150). Your pet can travel with you anytime of year.
