Default GB Airways?

Flying to Morocco via London. The London-Marrakech segment is "BA, operated
by GB Airways". The rather basic GB web page says their livery and uniforms
are of BA.

I am curious about why there is a separate company pretending to be BA. I
guess commuter airlines do this in the US, but I haven't heard of it in
this intercontinental-flight context. Is it maybe a charter-type outfit,
with 7-across seating in the A320 or no leg room or something like that?
What should we expect to find?

GB Airways is a BA "franchisee" - BA does this a lot. They meet BA's
standards for comfort, equipment, service, etc. Actually, a pretty decent
airline. Fly mainly A320's and A321's, but may still have a couple of
737-300s.

No different than Continental/Delta/Northwest codeshares or United/US
Airways in the U.S.
