 Flying to Papeete, Tahiti from LAX with Air Tahiti Nui
Lots of people take it for cruises, they are the airline of choice for
several cruise lines. There are many reviews from cruise people on it, I
don't ever remember reading a bad one, they liked the airline.
You may want to try one of the cruise boards, certainly people there have
used it.
