Can you freeze the sausages first?
Either way, wrap the sausages with several layers of newspaper for
insulation, and box it. Check it through, as the temperature in the
baggage compartment of an airplane can be very cool. I wouldn't mess
around with ice, dry ice, or anything. It's not like you're going to
the moon. They'll arrive fine.
