    Default Long layover in LAX

    Hey everyone

I am looking at going to Sydney this coming fall. I will be flying
from Casper, WY which limits my options. In any event a search of the
internet shows Delta, as having the best fare. Only thing is that I
will either have a long layover in Salt Lake City or at LAX. If I
remember right the layover at LAX could end up being, as much as 10
hours. If I were to end with that layover how easy would it be use
public transportation to leave the airport to do some sightseeing.
Also how much time should I allow for clearing security to make my
connecting flight to Sydney. In addition are they storage lockers for
    luggage at LAX.

    Thanks for your help

Also if all your flights are on the same ticket you shouldn't have to worry
about luggage storage as Delta will check-in your bag all the way to Sydney.

Very easy. LAX is just a few minutes away from Venice Beach and Santa
Monica. You could easily take a bus there for three or four hours.
Having been to both Los Angeles and Salt Lake City several times, I
would definitely recommend LA for your lay over instead of Salt Lake
    City.
