I've only been to Egypt once and that was some time ago so I may be
out of date, but if you're interested in a fairly relaxed tour of the
main archeological sites I'd suggest looking into a Nile Cruise from
Luxor to Aswan as part of your visit. There is a lot to be said for
taking your hotel room with you as you travel. I found it very
enjoyable.
