Look up Lets Go travel in Nairobi, they could transport you to Thika
and on to the Chania falls. You could go to the Blue Posts hotel ( of
Flame Trees of Thika fame ) and have lunch or a drink. It`s about 25kms
to Thika from Nairobi. The first thing I said when I went to Thika was
"where are the flame trees!?" There aren`t any and Thika is just a
small town but you could go and see the falls. Lets Go travel is
excellent and will be able to help you, check out their website.

Default thika falls

Thika falls is a days visit. You visit it from morning then you come back the same day. Its not a 500 km it is 60 km from Nairobi. Actually it will cost you 5000 Kenya shillings.

You can contact me about this excursions.
