Default Best Cities/places to see in Morocco?

Any recommendations on which cities/places (not the desert) are the best to
visit, please?

We fly in to Casablanca in May and only have 6 days, so we can't see
everything.

I believe there is not much to see in Casablanca.

We prefer to travel by train, if possible.

Please, if you have first hand advice (meaning that you have actually been
there in 'recent' times), it would be much appreciated.

Thank you in advance,

Andrew (from Australia)

Default Morrocco

As a natal from Morrocco i would sujjest to options :cost option ,Casablanca,Rabat,Tangier.Or the inside option :Casablanca,Fes,Marrakech. The first option is where the climat is mild, the second is the contrary.Welcome to Morrocco and good luck,if any other questions don't hesitate.

Fes is a great city to explore. You actually can bebefitr from an
official guide to get the best out of your advenure there.

There is a nice 3 star chain caalled Ibiss or perhaps stay at a ryad.
americans and aussies love the restored palaces there- and in
Marrakech.

Trains are safe but take time.

I flew in Casablanca a couple of month ago, I took right away the train
to Marrakech.
I suggest to do the same, spend two full days in Marrakechen move to
Fes. I did that by car, but I think you can do by coach/bus. Fes is
worth one full day (I suggest a guide). Add to that Meknes and
Volubilis.
Those are the "NOT TO MISS" maybe you have time to visit the Hassan
mosque in Casablanca on your way back, but remember that the only thing
to see in that city.

Ciao,
g.
