 How do I sell a safari to my fiance?

Doug,
Have a look at the Lonely Planet site and go to the Thorntree board,
click on the Africa branch where you can find people`s experiences or
register and ask others for assistance. Kenya would be a great place
for a honeymoon, if you spend a few days at Hemingways in Watamu you
will have roses strewn across your pillows, fruit and chilled wine
and generally be well looked after, it has happened to me and I wasn`t
on honeymoon! There are also some romantic places for a safari,
Zanzibar is also a wonderful place to visit.
