Hey Bjorn:
In a nutshell, let me tell you to *relax*, you're going to have a wonderful
time! South Africa is a completely first world country, with lots of great
things to do and very friendly people. Get a guidebook, like the Lonely
Planet or the Rough Guide, and have a good time exploring. Consider it to be
like going to a new part of Belguim or France. Its NOT 'Africa', in the
sense of having headhunters, jungles, wild animals prowling outside your
door, and no telephones, etc.
