| | Guest | Your safari to kenya! Ben,
Thank you for the offer. I'm traveling to Kenya in March with
Elderhostel. We will be visiting Ambroseli National Park, Sweetwaters
Game Reserve, Lake Elementaita, Maasai Mara Game Reserve and Nairobi.
I'd love any tips you can provide, as this is my first trip to Africa.
Specifically, what type of clothing do you recommend for March for this
itinerary?
Again, thanks for your willingness to contribute to this group.
Paula

Ben may answer Paula but as to clothing, the middle of March can be
the onset of the long rains, so you may like to include a light rain
mac. It is still fairly hot so cotton shorts, skirts, tee shirts, with
long light trousers and long sleeved shirts or blouses for the evening.
Amboseli is very dry and dusty when there isn`t any rain, so a hat or
scarf is useful when on game drives.

Rain gear. Extra pair of cheap shoes you can use for mud.
And I am not being facetious. | |

Ben,
advertisements are not welcome, but answering questions and
giving general information is welcome.
