 Going to South Africa...
About dining out in Cape Town. Forget the Waterfront! Its just a
tourist trap! Most of the good places are in the central city arround
Long st. and Kloof st. you should try Kapse Taffel near the Company
Gardens for real "Cape cusine" and for real good life African music
while dining try "Mamma Africa" on Long St. (though the food there are
a little touristed).
"Must see" sights in and arround Cape Town include: Table Mountain,
Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden, Cape of Good Hope National
Park with Cape of Good Hope and Cape Point, Shoping on Greenpoint
Market (weekends only) - again forget the Waterfront! Greenmarket
Square are an other good place for shooping (though smaller and more
touristed).
